Registration forms for the academic year 2025-2026
When you apply for a student card, you automatically become a member and receive a student card that provides student benefits such as student discounts at many different companies and operators, as well as the union’s other membership benefits.
If you are not a student but want to support our activities, you can also become a supporting member.
Member benefits
As a member, you get, for example:
- student discount on VR and Matkahuolto
- our member magazine EBL twice a year
For upper primary school pupils €4.90
- You will receive a physical student card and must be picked up from FSS office, Kaserngatan 1D 65-66 Helsinki 00140
- If you want us to send the student card home to you, the price is €9,90
For secondary and vocational students €4.90
- You get a digital student card via Frank App and student benefits via Frank
- If you wwant a plastic student card, you must contact FSS office, studiekort@skolungdom.fi
For students in folk high schools €4,90
- You will receive a physical student card and must be picked up from FSS office, Kaserngatan 1D 65-66 Helsinki 00140
- If you want us to send the student card home to you, the price is €9,90
For those who already have a student card, read how to renew your student card. Those who are already members of FSS will receive an email with detailed instructions for renewing their membership. If you have not received the email, please contact us and we will sort it out.
The physical cards can be picked up from the FSS office only on Tuesdays between 12:00 and 15:00. We will contact you when the printed cards has arrived to our office. If you are unable to pick up the card during the given time, you must contact FSS at studiekort@skolungdom.fi.

Be The Change!
Det här är Spring – en idétävling för ungdomar i åldern 15-19 år
Världen förändras ständigt, men som tur är kan den också förändras till det bättre.
Spring ger dig möjlighet att påverka frågor som är viktiga för dig.
Unga kan delta i Spring i lag på 3-5 personer. Skicka in din idé som strävar efter att lösa ett stort internationellt problem, svara på en lokal fråga eller skapa fullständigt nya möjligheter. Vinnarna av idétävlingen belönas med ett sommarjobb och en studieresa i Europa, under vilka du kan utveckla din idé till något konkret.
#KulturÄrKul
Kulturkarnevalen är en en festival för ungdomar i åldern 13-19 år. Kulturkarnevalen vill skapa kulturupplevelser bland unga på svenska och erbjuda deltagarna möjlighet att prova på olika konstformer. Evenemanget ordnas årligen i november, sedan år 2003 på olika orter i Svenskfinland.
