Pupils’ Day ERIK is
- FSS annual meeting
- A great place to influence youth and education policy through FSS
- It is also an opportunity to meet many new people and practice debate and rhetoric.
- One of the highlights of the year!


Who can participate in ERIK?
- All Swedish-speaking schoolchildren, with a desire for broad geographical, age and school diversity.
- Pupils in the upper grades of primary school, secondary school students and folk high school students.
- Members of the FSS, which is also required to have voting rights. If you are not already a member, you can become one here!
What happens during ERIK?
- Review of the previous year’s events, including the annual report, financial statements and audit report.
- Voting on amendments, debating and approving the political program.
- Handling of motions received containing specific topics that the FSS will work on next year.
- Decisions on activities for the coming year, including a new business plan and budget.
- Election of the board of directors to represent Swedish-speaking schoolchildren next year.
- Decisions on other important documents and matters.
- The Golden Hat Gala, where the best student or student union board in Swedish Finland is rewarded in festive circumstances.
- Opportunity to meet new people and make friends from all over the country.
- Participation in entertaining evening programs and various fun activities organized by the association’s committees.

How can members get involved before the Annual General Meeting?
- Submit one or more motions
- Stand for election to the Federal Executive Committee

- In a Swedish-speaking municipality, usually in a school
